[Legal Notice] Tax changes to your Google Ads account in Cambodia starting October 1, 2022
Hello,
Due to new tax legislation in Cambodia, starting October 1, 2022 Google will begin charging Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate (currently 10%) on services that are billed to customers in Cambodia.
Because your tax information affects whether VAT applies to you, please provide us with your VAT Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) for Cambodia. If no VAT TIN is provided, we will begin adding 10% VAT to your transactions starting October 1, 2022.
If you are based in Cambodia and do not have a Cambodian VAT TIN, it is up to you to determine whether any further action is required on your part. Note that for transactions to which VAT applies, VAT will be applied to your invoices starting October 1, 2022.
To update your tax information:
1. | Sign in to the Google payments center |
2. | Select Settings from the top menu |
3. | In the "Cambodia VAT TIN" section, click the pencil icon |
4. | Click Save |
If you're unable to add your Cambodia VAT TIN, you may not have sufficient permissions to make changes to your Google payments profile. Please contact the admin of your Google payments profile, and ask them to give you admin or edit permissions for the payments profile. Then try again at the Google payments center.
Do not reply to this message with your registration number, as your information will not be received.
Google can't advise you on tax matters. Please contact your tax adviser for any questions regarding this change.
Thank you,
The Google Payments Team
